How to Help

Our museum is run largely on corporate memberships, donations, and our fundraising efforts! One of the easiest ways to support us is by coming to museum and to our events. There are more involved ways to help out aswell!

Become a Board Member

We’re always looking for energetic community members willing to help us and contribute to making the fort the best it can be!

Responsibilities include:

Voting on Museum Matters
Regularly attending board meetings
Helping out with the museum when you can

Purchase a Membership

Individual $10

With this membership for one year you are entitled to:

Free admission to the museum during regular open hours
A 10% discount on purchases made in the museums gift shop
Attend the regular board meeting as an observer but without the right to vote on matters
Attend the Annual meeting with the right to vote on matters presented at the Annual meeting

Family $20

With this membership for one year you are entitled to:

Free admission for you, your spouse, and dependent children to the museum during regular open hours
A 10% discount on purchases made in the museums gift shop
Attend the regular board meeting as an observer but without the right to vote on matters
Attend the Annual meeting with the right to vote on matters presented at the Annual meeting

Lifetime $100

With this membership for life you are entitled to:

Volunteer

We’re always looking for volunteers to help out at events or with maintenance tasks around the fort. We also have volunteer opportunities for high schoolers to recieve credits!

Opportunities include:

Helping out with events
Maintence around the museum
Archival work - intended for High School Students
and more!

Partial day, less than four hours: $100.00

Chairs: $2.00 each

Tables: $5.00 each

Partial day, per hour: $25.00
